UEFA Euro 2024: Everything You Need to Know
The Tournament
UEFA Euro 2024 is the seventeenth edition of the UEFA European Football Championship, a quadrennial international football championship of Europe's national football teams organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). It will be held in Germany from 14 June to 14 July 2024.
Venues
The tournament will be played in ten cities across Germany: Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, and Stuttgart.
Teams
Twenty-four teams will participate in the tournament, including the host nation, Germany. The other 23 teams will qualify through a series of qualifying matches that will be played from March 2023 to March 2024.
Format
The tournament will be played in a group stage followed by a knockout stage. In the group stage, the teams will be divided into six groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, which will consist of a round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final.
Tickets
Tickets for UEFA Euro 2024 will go on sale in December 2023. Fans will be able to purchase tickets online through UEFA's website or through authorized ticket agents.
